I have had this idea in my head (title and all) for quite a few weeks, and finally got around to it. More to come for sure, I had a tough time deciding on one.

Hahaha of course! It was actually really simple. I just put a smoke bomb in each of the glass containers that you see in the picture, and lit them all and then took a bunch of pictures. All of the smoke bombs were green, and I had a window cracked open to create more movement in the smoke. I hope that all makes sense?

I did this with yellow as well, I will be sharing those soon I think. And I would for sure suggest putting the smoke bombs in a container if you are doing it inside at all. Best of luck!

I actually bought them. I have heard making them isn’t that difficult though. I have seen quite a few tutorials online in fact.
So where do you find out how to make them?
You can just google it and find tons and tons of videos and tutorials. Wikihow had a good one when I last looked in to it.

How do you make a smoke bomb??
I didn’t actually make these ones, I just bought them. I know there are tons of tutorials and youtube videos out there that can show you how to make them though.

As I have mentioned a few times in the comments here, I purchased them. Though you can find many tutorials for making them online.
How long do the smoke bombs last?!?!
Not very long at all. It has been a while since I have used them, but if I remember correctly the super intense smoke is only there for 10-15 seconds maybe. You definitely have to work quick, especially if there is any air movement.
For lighter, longer lasting smoke, try stick incense-sawdust based give off different smoke than charcoal based. No pretty colors, though, unfortunately.
Do you make or buy those? They sound interesting, I will have to give them a try. Thanks for the info!

I don’t mind at all! But I didn’t make the smoke bombs, if that is what you are referring to. In terms of the photograph in general, I just placed a small smoke bomb in each jar and then lit them all. Very simple really.
