I had such an incredibly long day at work today, most of which was spent trying to console a miserably sick 18 month old. And I am not feeling so great myself, so this was all I could bring myself to do for my picture today.
And now I’m going to go curl up and dive in to this book.
2/28 – We got a little bit of an ice storm last night, and our power went out as soon as I walked in the door after getting home from work. It ended up being extremely nice having a night off from my computer and electronics in general. If it wasn’t for my 365 I would probably try to make it a regular thing.
59/366 – Candlelight
I’m not sure about my editing on this one. I was messing with it for quite a while but couldn’t decide what direction I wanted to take it. I may re-look at it tomorrow and change my mind.
Just a quick digital double exposure for today.
I took this in the 5 minutes I had this afternoon before heading to work. And just now got home from work a half hour before midnight to edit/post.
And now it is time to crash; goodnight.
These beautiful mailboxes are inside the Stillwater, MN post office. Unfortunately they are moving to a new building soon, so these probably won’t exist much longer.
So much good news today, and such a great day over all. A simple shot like this just felt right.
I hadn’t announced it here on my blog yet, but I will officially be attending Kansas State University in the fall for my MFA! I was able to skype with my future professor this evening, and it made me even more excited to get down there and dive in to the process. I cannot wait!
