105/366 – happy place

This view is one of my favorite parts of my parents’ home.

In the spring the seeds from the cottonwood trees float everywhere like a warm snow. The new leaves and growing grass glow in the evening light. It calms me more than anything else seems to be able to.

102/366 – A day in the life of a nanny

I figured when all else fails, a double exposure will look interesting.

The older boy I nanny for was at school this morning, so the younger one and I had a nice quiet morning playing with play-doh. Normally when I am taking pictures he tries to jump in front of the camera and yells “cheese” but today he was so involved in his work that he was oblivious to me. I loved it.

97/366 – Ring

I had to get my engagement ring resized and so I was without it for a few days. I got it back today, and was so excited that I couldn’t resist shooting it for today’s picture. I love the color of my succulent, and thought the diamond would look great on it. It is tough to see, which I am a littleĀ disappointedĀ about, but I still really love this image.

Oh, and I am finally all caught up on my 366!
