When I was in Minnesota in the middle of August I was fortunate enough to spend lots of time with my precious nephew. We spent a day together, along with my mom, which involved a walk to a pier for some rock throwing, eating popsicles, throwing plums into the garden, and playing with water. It was a blast to see this little guy constantly on the move, and I made it my goal to photograph our adventures that day.
I shot some family pictures for my brother and sister-in-law this afternoon. I love so many of them, but I cannot look at this one without smiling. I love seeing them both as parents, and how much love they have for this little boy.

Saturday I got to spend all day with this guy and his twin brother. Both of them are such active little boys already; their legs are constantly kicking.
Thursday, June 21
Friday morning was my frist time meeting my little nephews. They were sound asleep when we got in the night before, so when they woke up in the morning I was immediately in their room to see them. They were born very premature and because of that still have to have their breathing and heart rate monitored. I loved his glowing little foot, and had to grab a few pictures.
The life of a nanny 🙂
I am headed to South Dakota tomorrow to visit my twin nephews for the first time, so I am not sure when/if I will be able to post over the next 5 days. Expect pictures of babies when I return though.
I figured when all else fails, a double exposure will look interesting.
The older boy I nanny for was at school this morning, so the younger one and I had a nice quiet morning playing with play-doh. Normally when I am taking pictures he tries to jump in front of the camera and yells “cheese” but today he was so involved in his work that he was oblivious to me. I loved it.
We decided on a name a week or so ago, so meet Pixel! Who we now think is a boy, not a girl. Luckily we picked a name that works for either one. All I can say is that he came at a good point in my 365. You will probably be seeing a lot of little Pixel in the next 53 days.

I am actually posting before midnight today, shocking. My boyfriend (Elliot) was sitting in front of his computer (which is connected to his tv) and there was a blue glow on his face. I liked the colors from the screen and his lights, so this is what I ended up with for the day.
