291/365 – Brownie!

Elliot is looking for a coffee table, and so yesterday we were driving around to places like Goodwill and other second-hand stores. We thought we were done for the evening and were headed home, when we passed the Peddler’s Mall/Flea Market. I made a comment about how I wanted to stop in there sometime and see what they had, and he wondered if they would have coffee tables, so we turned around and headed on in. It was an experience to say the least. There were all of the booths, hundreds and hundreds of them (the place seemed to go on forever), filled with the most random things you could think of. Everything from floor mats for your car, to hot wheels cars, to old bottles and signs. I can’t even begin to describe how random it was. We were walking around, just glancing in each booth, and my eyes locked on this. It was still in the original box (which is very worn, but still cool), and came with the flash and an extra bulb. I will have to post a picture of that soon because it is awesome. I immediately fell in love with it and knew I had to get it. I have been wanting a retro camera for such a long time, and you can probably imagine my surprise to find it amongst all of that crap in there. Anyways, without further ado, say hello to my little friend (sorry, I had to).

(Oh, and this is not the shot that I had wanted to do with this little guy at all, but today was a rough day, filled with coughing uncontrollably and being homesick)
