Sometimes I need a little bit of a relaxing and “romantic” night even though my fiance is 12 hours away.

2/366 – Wick

Day two was another struggle. I blame the fact that I am still in a ton of pain from my surgery for some reason.

107/365 – Clear

The title of this is somewhat ironic for me right now, since not much is clear at the moment. With my critique coming up in less than a week I decided tonight that I am scrapping my originally idea and starting from nothing. I have no clue what to do for my project, and it has been wearing down on me all day. Which is why I have yet another simple, night-time candle shot. Tomorrow I am getting up early to drive around and just shoot in hopes of finding inspiration, so at the very least I will have something different for my 365.

 

94/265 – Sparks

I almost completely forgot about taking a picture today. So I was left with trying to make a candle more interesting than just a candle.

327/365 – Mystery

**Friday, December 2

It snowed yesterday!! Snow is quite possibly my favorite thing ever. I don’t think I could survive a winter without it. I could just sit and watch it snow and do nothing else and be perfectly content. I felt like a silly little girl while walking to class in it because I couldn’t stop smiling. There is just something about snow that immediately makes me smile, calms me down, and makes me incredible joyful. There is nothing else like it that has the same effect on me. Naturally when it snows I have a hard time putting down my camera, and so yesterday I asked Whitney if she would model for me out in the snow. I wasn’t quite successful at showing just how much it was snowing, but I am still very happy with a lot of the pictures I took.

310/365 – Holding On

**Wednesday, November 15

I couldn’t think of anything to take a picture of, so I said to Whitney, “can I take a picture of your hands?” She said sure, and suggested she hold her new candle, which I then suggested we put her candle in my bird-cage; such a group effort! It took forever to edit this picture, which is why it isn’t getting up until today. I worked on it for close to two hours last night, and still wasn’t happy with it, so I decided to leave it until today.

Ha, cheesy title I know, but I had to.

Anyways, something a little more simple for todays picture. My roommate Whitney just bought this candle holder, and I asked her what I should take a picture of and she told me take one of her candle lit with her little owl next to it. I liked the idea, so here it is!

I am burned out on my 365. I even thought about quitting today, but decided that I would be too mad at myself. So here I am, one more picture; trying to take it a day at a time.

Finally, something I am excited about. I have no clue why I thought of this, but I really like it. I also will be making a stop motion from these, which I am so excited about. I just have to find the time to do it.

I have no clue how I thought of the title either. It just kind of came to me while I was taking pictures and I couldn’t get it out of my head so I figured it should be the title.
