I meant for this to be a diptych, but my scanner decided to be difficult tonight.

Yesterday was my wonderful sister’s birthday, so we went over to her house to have dinner and dessert. I know it isn’t the sharpest image, but it was one of two photographs that I took yesterday, the other just being a family shot.

Yesterday I worked a long day, and it was Chris’s last day. Needless to say I was not wanting to take a picture, and had no clue what to shoot. Until this hot air balloon almost took off our chimney. My polaroid was the closest camera to me, so I grabbed it and managed to get this one shot before it was down the street.
I had to get my engagement ring resized and so I was without it for a few days. I got it back today, and was so excited that I couldn’t resist shooting it for today’s picture. I love the color of my succulent, and thought the diamond would look great on it. It is tough to see, which I am a little disappointed about, but I still really love this image.
Oh, and I am finally all caught up on my 366!

After church on Sunday we had some time to kill before heading to lunch with his family. We ended up wandering around the UK arboretum for a bit since it was so nice out.
Oh, and my scanner did something weird to this one so I will probably re-scan it. I just wanted to get it uploaded.
