Thursday morning I packed up, and headed out for Kansas. There is no great, direct way from South Dakota to Kansas, and so I ended up taking back road highways the entire 12 hours. It was an interesting drive to say the least, but at least it was beautiful.
Confession time. I completely forgot to take a picture yesterday, so this is actually from a few days ago when I was trying out my Holga lens on my Nikon. I fell in love with the incredible depth I got in this shot, and the kind of dream like atmosphere. It is SOOC, with the exception of conversion from RAW.
I went out to the prairie to get pictures of epic clouds, but by the time I got there they were all gone. But, I hadn’t done a stitch for a while, so I thought it would be a good option.
I thought and thought and thought about a title, but all I could think of was lame, one word titles which I hated. So, for now, it is untitled.
I took this a bit go, it was for my self-portrait studio shoot. It doesn’t really work for my project any more though. I was still using lighting at this point, there was one Dyna light to the left of the camera, at around a 45 degree angle I believe (I cannot remember exactly).
