Today I went on an adventure with my friend Manuel to try to find this spot he knew of that he thought I would like to take pictures of. We failed trying to find it, but had such a great time anyways. We turned down some random road at one point, and crossed a bridge and I barely caught this out of the corner of my eye and nearly slammed on the brakes so I could get out and get some pictures. It doesn’t look like much in the picture really, but it sure was pretty when we were there.
And I sat and looked at it when I was editing, trying to figure out something cool and different to do with it, but couldn’t come up with anything. So, other than some slight tones and contrast it is pretty much straight out of the camera.
Yesterday was exhausting. I made the drive from Lexington to Stillwater, which is a 13 hour drive, and an incredibly boring one. All I could manage to do was take a picture with my phone when passing these windmills.
It was raining all day yesterday, and as I was driving to Elliot’s for dinner I noticed how great the reflections on the road were. So I made Elliot come with me to take pictures after dinner and such. It was so great, even though a good chunk of my pictures didn’t actually turn out (I wasn’t paying enough attention or being careful enough), and so needed as well.
We had some crazy weather today. It was warm right away in the morning, and super super windy. Then all of a sudden we were in tornado watches and warnings. Every radio station was being interrupted every few minutes for the emergency broadcast or whatever. It poured, that is for sure, and the wind kept right up the entire time, but nothing as bad as I was hoping for (I love storms so so much!). It was a bit of a let down really, haha. But, we did get lots of rain which we desperately needed. And I did get this picture, which I like. And I did get a video that I kind of like and may upload tomorrow.
Oh, and to ease the worry of anyone out there (aka my parents), Elliot was driving his truck when I took this.
Yesterday I drove back to KY from MN, which is a 13 hour drive. Because of this, all I really had time (or energy) for was to take a picture while getting gas. So, even after sitting on the edge of your seats (as I am sure you do for my posts..) you are stuck with this.
My boyfriend and I had a nice, relaxing Valentines Day. We went out driving this afternoon, just looking at things, and went over this creek. This was the only decent picture I ended up with for the day, I just didn’t feel like taking many for some reason. Hopefully tomorrow will be something more interesting. Happy Valentines Day!
