I am constantly fascinated with how liquids behave, especially drops into liquids. I don’t think it is something that I will ever get used to or grow sick of seeing.
I am not a huge coffee drinker despite the fact that I own a coffee maker (left to me by my sister-in-law). However when my dad was in town he bought some coffee and creamer, and so I decided today I needed to drink so. Plus it was just a good day for it. I recently saw a picture on Flickr of a drop of cream into coffee and so I wanted to give it a try. I know it isn’t the most interesting or spectacular image, but I am pretty happy with the results. I may upload a couple of others, at different “‘stages” of the drop.
I used a SB-600 on camera, bounced off a wall, but unfortunately cannot remember what I had it set at. Any feedback would be appreciated, I am always looking to improve!

Today was just an absolutely miserable day, for such a long list of reasons that I wont get into. This was the only bright spot of my day, I had made some sweet tea in between classes and had a glass full that wouldn’t fit in the pitcher, so I poured it in a glass and decided to throw ice in it since Elliot found my remote for me. I like a ton of them, so expect to see more.
