354/366 – The calm before the storm.

I have been busy planning for the class I will be teaching this semester, and so when I saw the beautiful light in the empty classroom this evening I had to grab a shot. Ironically enough the file number is the same as the course number I will be teaching. And, this is my first photograph in daylight in 4 days, so that is exciting.

270/366 – Empty
This past week has been a blur, and a bit of an emotional roller coaster. I am finally going to try to get caught up, though I didn’t take a photograph every day so I will have to make up for it at some point I guess.

*Thursday, October 11
Thursday I was in Lexington waiting for my fiance to finish school so we could head up to Cincinnati for SPE. It was beautiful out so I decided to venture to the place that I used as my little sanctuary and retreat while I lived there.

This isn’t very typical me, but I was drawn to it (after editing it over the course of 3 days). I am still sort of torn on if I like it or not though.

24/365 – Smoke Screens

I have had this idea in my head (title and all) for quite a few weeks, and finally got around to it. More to come for sure, I had a tough time deciding on one.

Also, once again I have entered a contest which requires votes. I would so appreciate every vote I can get, so please, go vote for my portfolio and spread the word to as many people as you can! They have a quick and easy way of sharing my portfolio through facebook and twitter among other things, so get the word out! And of course, thank you so much for all the support everyone!

228/365 – Diffuser

Last night I was busy running errands and cleaning up in between classes, and then after my studio got out at 8:30 I just didn’t have much motivation for a picture. But, I had purchased this diffuser in the dollar section of Target, so I figured it would make for an interesting photograph despite already being empty.

80/365 – Deserted

I had entered into a photo contest at school, and the reception was tonight. I went, and it was the biggest waste of my time ever. They didn’t even have my picture hanging (they did have everyone else’s though). So I was walking out and stopped to take some pictures in the deserted food court.
