After my run at the University of Kentucky Arboretum today I went for a short walk around the main garden with my camera. More flower pictures to come.

Tuesday, August 3. I am not happy with this one at all. Like the others, it was taken on a shoot for my project. Elliot and I had been in Richmond, KY all afternoon so that he change his oil and rotate his tires at his brother’s house. We then had dinner with his brother and sister-in-law, and left just in time to do one self-portrait shoot. It was getting dark, and we needed to get back to Lexington, and so I was rushing trying to get a shot and this is all that I ended up with.

158/365 – Pink and Green

I am completely blanking on the name of this plant right now, and it is driving me crazy.

I don’t know if it is because I am sick, or because I had to return my new favorite lens, or what it is, but I just had no desire or motivation to take a picture today. I fell asleep for 2 hours after a quick photo shoot and then didn’t want to move. Being sick in the summer is terrible.

Another reverse lens picture, because when all else fails, extreme depth of field usually provides an “interesting” picture.
