If you have been following along lately, you have seen that I am photographing monotone still lifes. Besides the glass and white objects, I also shot some blue objects. I don’t have as many objects painted blue at this point as I would like, so hopefully after building up some selection I will re-shoot and have more images to share.
I hope everyone has had a wonderful start to their week!
This semester I moved to a new studio, one that has windows. I was so excited to finally have natural light in my studio, so I brought in some plants to decorate my windowsill. I still felt like I needed more color, and was inspired by all the gold-leafed or painted animals I had seen on Pinterest. So, meet Gerald the blue giraffe!
Also, I have noticed many new followers in the past few weeks, and I would love to meet you all and hear how you found my blog! Welcome to the blog and I hope you enjoy!
I had the urge to spend a while in photoshop for today’s picture. So I set my mind on an image that would require multiple shots combined into one. I only had one giraffe, and moved him over and over taking pictures as I went with my camera on a tripod. I then brought them all in to photoshop to combine them. After tweaking the colors a bit, I must say I am very happy with the result!
Oh, and I have decided to bring my logo back, so you will be seeing that from now on.
