I almost forgot about my self-portrait for the week. I had this idea sketched out in my sketch book for quite a while now, so I thought it was about time to do it. And for future reference, acrylic paint that close to my eye is a little bit scary.
It has been such a long time since I have done a 52 week shot. I took this on the same day that Whitney and I went on out shoot (it took me a while to get around to editing it). After such a failed attempt at Raven Run (where I wanted to do my self-portrait) we just went to my backyard where I decided to do a simple head shot.

Thursday, August 5. Meet on of my beautiful roommates, Whitney! She helped me with an idea for a picture before, which I ended up loving, and then when I was stuck on this night offered to “model” for me. I love how much she is willing to help out on my project, it i going to be great this year with her around! Plus she is absolutely adorable and so it is so much fun being around her.

I took a head shot of Elliot’s sister-in-law, Aleece, today. She has some of the most gorgeous eyes I have ever seen, I am absolutely jealous of them. And she is one of the most ambitious women I know, it is so impressive!
Another from my mini-shoot yesterday. I decided that in all of my self portraits on here I don’t have much of an expression, so it would be “fun” to have something like this up.
