I hadn’t done a double exposure for my series for quiet a long time. And since I only have 2 weeks left in Minnesota at my parents’ house I thought it would be a good idea to get one with my mom’s garden before I move.
When it came time to shoot today’s picture I wanted something that would represent my day. Most days I don’t really care if my image sums up my day, but today I did. There were two main things I was trying to represent, but couldn’t figure out how to get both things across in one picture, or how to create an interesting picture of just one of them. I shot them separately, and wasn’t in love with them so I decided to combine them and ended up liking the result.
So, today is a pretty personal image, more for me than anything else.
I had a few exposures left on a roll of film in my holga, and two other rolls that needed to be developed, so I grabbed some shots quick. There were some strange things going on with this roll that is for sure. This wasn’t supposed to be a double exposure, but a friend partially wound the camera accidentally so everything was doubled up. I really like how it turned out though! Plus I am excited to get into film a bit more and have more of these happy accidents.
Another image for Analogue Sunrise! I was in a bit of a rush to get a shot before baby sitting tonight, and I knew I wanted another shot of a sticker, so this is what I got. I didn’t have time to edit before leaving, and didn’t get home from baby sitting until 11:45pm tonight, so I am just now, at 12:30am getting it posted.

My poor roommate, Whitney, gets roped into being my model quite often. Luckily she doesn’t seem to mind. Elliot was on his way to pick me up for dinner with his mom, aunt, and cousin, and so I asked Whitney if she would let me take pictures of her feet. I really love how this one turned out, the blue jeans with the orange of the leaves is just perfect.
Blah. That is how I am feeling and how I feel about this picture.
My knee is taking forever to heal. It is still super swollen (this is the smallest it has been, and it has been 3 weeks since surgery), and is still quite painful. This is the best the scar has looked though, out of the 3 times that it has been cut open. So that is a bonus I guess.
I was just messing around with textures since I couldn’t think of anything else to take a picture of or any other way to edit this.

In my summer class today we had to mix and pour 200 pounds of plaster into big cardboard boxes. It was crazy exhausting work. Then some people’s boxes busted open, spilling the plaster everywhere. Me and Susannah (who the eye picture is of) rushed to help one of the guys who had that problem, and got splattered with plaster as a result. We decided we needed a picture together, which is the first somehow (despite knowing each other for 4 years). And yet it is just of our dirty feet, how nice.
