Another spontaneous idea that ended up much better than I thought it would. I was sketching out some self-portrait ideas with watercolor, and decided to use my hand as a canvas for a bit.

Yikes. I am very behind. I just moved from Minnesota to Kansas, so things have been busy and life was more important than uploading or shooting. Details of each day will be posted with the pictures. Here we go…

Wednesday was a busy, long day of work and packing. I figured I should take advantage of my last few days living at my parents’ with the beautiful backyard.

123/366 – Manhattan, Kansas

*Tuesday, May 8
Tuesday morning we woke up early and began the search for an apartment. Luckily we found one right away in the morning and so we had some time to walk around and see the city and campus for the first time. I was so focused on getting stuff done there and meeting with my professor and such that I didn’t even think about taking a picture other than a few on my phone. This was next to the art museum on campus.

115/366 – Tangled

I haven’t done a self-portrait in such a long time. Mostly because I have been lazy and uninspired. Today I finally had an idea I liked, but when I went out to shoot it I realized my hair isn’t long enough for what I had hoped to do. After messing around in photoshop quite a bit though I managed to turn it into something I think works.
