129/366 – Birthday Flowers

I picked some flowers as a birthday treat to myself 🙂

68/366 – moss

I woke up a little bit early this morning so I could have time to get a picture in before leaving for work since I knew I wouldn’t be home until after dark again. I didn’t have much time but was drawn to the little patch of moss that was practically glowing in the morning light.

48/365 – Green

I went for a short hike today at Raven Run Nature Sanctuary. I was originally planning on going for an extremely long hike at the Red River Gorge and so I had packed a lunch and such, but decided last-minute I wanted something a bit more relaxing and a place to just sit and breathe with nothing around so that I could clear my head. I stumbled on this spot, and ate my lunch on some rocks just to the right of this picture. It was a perfect spot and was just what I needed.

365 Outtakes Round 1

I have been going through my 365 pictures to delete bad ones and find good ones that I never posted. It has been a difficult process for certain reasons, but, I am determined to get through it despite everything. I will be posting the pictures over multiple posts (I have only gone through the pictures for the first couple of months so far after all), so enjoy the ride! Oh, and I apologize if some have already been on here before, I can’t remember which pictures I posted to my blog and which ones I didn’t. I am going to try to check but I may have some overlap.

7/365 – Basking

It was just beautiful out today, and when I got out of class I couldn’t resist going outside to take pictures. So I hopped into my car and drove to a place just outside lexington, called Raven Run Nature Sanctuary. I hiked around for a couple hours, and took a ton of pictures, more will be up later, I only have time for one at the moment. Consider it a teaser of sorts. Happy Friday all!

6/365 – Moss

I have really been enjoying this project so far, it has been good for me. On even the laziest of days it forces me to get up and doing something. And, most of the time, that involves going for a walk outside to scope things out. It has warmed up a bit here, so it was perfect for a short little walk. I ended up with some cool things, I will post some more later on most likely.
