353/366 – Tangled Confusion

350/366 – Steam

After being in such a stunning place for the past few days, I was struggling with motivation for today’s 366 now that I am back in Kansas. I got this in my head and decided to go with it, and it ended up turning out much, much better than I had hoped.

And I am all caught up now, which I was not expecting to happen today!

I couldn’t decide between these two, and then ended up liking how the colors/compositions worked when together. So today you get two for one. Merry Christmas!

After a 14 hour day of school related things I didn’t really want to shoot anything. But, I missed the day before, so I forced myself to do something.

Bonfires on cool (but not cold) November nights are absolute perfection.

283/366 – The Visitor

I wasn’t free from everything until fairly late, and so was stuck with shooting in the dark as a result. I originally just wanted to see how my holga lens reacted to long exposures, but decided to switch over to my standard 50mm for some as well. I just started messing around with flashlights, and of course my cat got curious and had to get involved.

169/366 – Drive

*Friday, October 10
Yesterday I drove from Kansas to Kentucky. I left when it was still dark and saw the sun come up. There were so many times that I wanted to stop and take some photographs, but I was determined to get to KY asap so that I could see my fiance and so stopping was not an option.
Both images were taken with my phone. The left was in Kansas, and the right in Indiana.

*Sunday, October 7
So much to do in such a short time. I wasn’t planning on shooting anything yesterday, and then around midnight I decided I didn’t want to miss another day.

Yesterday a group of us grad girls from KState went to Kansas City for First Fridays. I didn’t bring my camera out with us, so I just grabbed this with my phone while we walked around.
