5/366 – Reflection

My boyfriend is in town until tomorrow, and since today was the first time I have been feeling decent since he has been here I took him to downtown Stillwater for the first time. Luckily it was warm out today so we walked around for quite a while. I got lucky since this was the only spot near the bridge that was not solid ice, and just couldn’t resist the reflection of the lift bridge on the river.

I wanted to spread the Analogue Sunrise love while I was home in Stillwater, so this morning while walking around downtown I stuck a sticker on a fence by the river quick and got a few pictures.

This was a pretty quick, sloppy edit because it is late and I need to get some sleep for my 13 hour drive back to Kentucky in the morning.

Today was another fantastic day. I met up with some fellow photographers/artists and we stumbled on a car show going on downtown Stillwater. There were some awesome cars, and the paint jobs on most were so amazing. Then add in some amazing sushi in a couple of cabanas with high school friends, and some answers about my knee. Such a full and wonderful day, and more pictures to come for sure (when I have time that is)!

*Saturday, August 6 – Stillwater, MN

Saturday afternoon I got together with a good friend for lunch. We grabbed some food from the River Market Co-Op (which has really great organic and natural food). I saw this drink there (called Mamma Chia), and thought it looked so strange; I just had to try it. It was actually pretty good. It had a bit of a strange sensation when the slimy seeds hit my mouth though. I don’t even know how to explain it other than bizarre. But I may have become obsessed with it, I already want another bottle.

Winter in Minne-snow-ta

Well, I took lots of pictures when I was home. And I liked a lot of them. And I am sitting on my couch with the windows open because it is 61 degrees out, and so I thought what better time to post pictures? So here you go, enjoy a quick view into my stay in the frozen tundra for break.

Similar, but I liked the slightly different composition.

Happy New Years Eve!!

Today was a perfect last day in Stillwater. Lunch with Kelley and Blair, then taking pictures downtown Stillwater with my good friend Alec, and drinking coffee and catching up with Alec and two other good friends, Hannah and Anders. It couldn’t have been a better night. And downtown Stillwater is beautiful.

Oh, and much much thanks to Alec for helping me find places to take pictures, and essentially acting as my creative director!!!

Now to go to bed so that I can get up and drive 13 hours back to Lexington.

Lame title and cliché picture, I know.

**Monday, November 29

My brother and I went on a walk yesterday afternoon despite the nasty weather. It was rainy, windy, and cold, but we braved it so I could get some pictures before hopping on my flight back to Kentucky. I didn’t get back until after 11:00 pm last night, and was exhausted, which is why I am just now posting.

**Still catching up…

Friday, August 6. As I mentioned before, on Friday I drove from Lexington to Minnesota. I got home around 10:00pm, and had been in the car since 10:00am, and so I didn’t have much time for pictures. Right before I went to bed I took this, in my bedroom here in MN.
