Almost a month ago now I went exploring to find this abandoned house that a student of mine had told me about. I wasn’t able to get inside unfortunately, though I may try again at some point.

354/366 – The calm before the storm.
I have been busy planning for the class I will be teaching this semester, and so when I saw the beautiful light in the empty classroom this evening I had to grab a shot. Ironically enough the file number is the same as the course number I will be teaching. And, this is my first photograph in daylight in 4 days, so that is exciting.

Today on the drive back we stopped at a random exit for gas and there were three houses in a row that looked like this, each with a different theme. It was so bizarre.

Yesterday was my wonderful sister’s birthday, so we went over to her house to have dinner and dessert. I know it isn’t the sharpest image, but it was one of two photographs that I took yesterday, the other just being a family shot.
365 Outtakes Round 1
I have been going through my 365 pictures to delete bad ones and find good ones that I never posted. It has been a difficult process for certain reasons, but, I am determined to get through it despite everything. I will be posting the pictures over multiple posts (I have only gone through the pictures for the first couple of months so far after all), so enjoy the ride! Oh, and I apologize if some have already been on here before, I can’t remember which pictures I posted to my blog and which ones I didn’t. I am going to try to check but I may have some overlap.

This is in the building that all of my studios are in. A kid was sawing and drilling away at the doorway of this, and said he was turning it into his space. I had never looked in the door there (it had always been locked), and so I stuck my head in later, and it is just this stairway to who knows where. My studio is such a sketchy place.
